Female Scholar Athlete of the Year: Megan Pollock |

Megan Pollock was a starting outside hitter for the Panthers volleyball team that made the post-season again and finished the season ranked number 16 in the state and number 8 in Northern California. She led the team with 230 kills and was in the top 20 in the state with her 2.53 kills per game average. Her 292 digs were second best on the team and her 3.21 digs per game placed her among the top 100 in the state in that category. She was also one of the co-captains of the team this year. Megan has excelled both on the court (as a 2nd Team All-Big 8 Conference Selection) as well as off the court (as she recently won the 2012 SCC Outstanding Women Award). She recently committed to the University of Massachusetts at Boston to play volleyball next season for the NCAA Division III Beacons and continue her education. |
